Allow Indexing

Settings > Reading > Uncheck “Discourage search engines…”

  • Updraft Plus (connect to the amazon account, Weekly backup on Sundays & store 5, eCommerce should be daily)
  • SG Optimizer
  • Smush Pro (optional, has good lazy loading and compression options)
  • Post SMTP Mailer/Email Log
  • Defender Pro

SSL and SSL Redirection

A Let’s Encrypt SSL cert will automatically be applied to the new site shortly after the account is created. Before proceeding, ensure the cert is ready accessing the site using https. If it’s not ready, you’ll get a big warning. Once the cert is ready, go to SG Optimizer settings and enforce HTTPS and Mixed Content from the Environment tab.

Solutio Accounts Sheet

Add the client to the Solutio Accounts sheet and fill in as many fields as you can. Contact info should be on Basecamp.

Add to Solutio Portfolio

Get a screenshot and add it to our website’s ‘Recent‘ page.  The screenshot should preferably 854×420 pixels.  You’ll probably want to clone an existing project/row and add the new project info.

Google reCaptcha

To help combat spam, connect any contact forms to Google’s reCaptcha service.

  • Give it a label. Any will do, preferably the website / company name.
  • Select reCaptcha v3
  • Add the domain without http:// or www (e.g.
  • Accept Google’s terms and press Submit
  • You will now be shown two sets of keys. Use these when setting up reCaptcha on the website, either through Divi’s Spam settings for the contact form(s), Contact Form 7 (see Integration settings), or other form builder plugin.
